30 Day Anime Challenge Season 1 Episode 16: Favorite Attack Someone Used in an Anime

While there are countless epic attacks that one could choose from, but I still love this one the most. I still quote it when ‘attacking’ my friends and family! “Thousand Years of Death” is comically beautiful. I just can’t get enough.

30 Day Anime Challenge Season 1 Episode 13: An Anime Character I’ve Cosplayed As (or Would Like to)

th33I’ve never cosplayed before, but have always wanted to. I have a keen eye for detail, and my husband is handy with a sewing machine so we could easily do it. Unfortunately, my husband is not here to operate the machine and I don’t have the money to buy the materials or outfits pre-made.  We have done some research into the topic, though, and it’s best to start small and work your way to bigger and more complicated things. With my height, body size, hair, and eye color I could easily go as Ten-Ten from Naruto or Sophie Hatter from Howl’s movie Castle. If I wanted a challenge, maybe even Belldandy from Ah! My Gooddess.

My hubby and I would love, love, love couple cosplay together. The last idea that we were really set on doing was to go as Lelouch and C2 from Code Geass. The contact lens, wig, and helmet would be the most expensive items; but it’s still something that we really wanted to do.

30 Day Anime Challenge Season 1 Episode 11: Favorite Mech Series

Neon Genesis Evangelion Wallpapers Best AnimeMy fave mech series would have to be Neon Genesis Evangelion.  The characters are deep, and the story line is exhilarating to watch. I loved watching the characters and their relationship grow in strange unexpected ways. That and the battles against Angel were truely epic, and the anime itself was beautiful.

30 Day Anime Challenge Season 1 Episode 9: Saddest Anime Scene

thThe saddest anime scene would be from the first Pokemon movie, when Ash was turned to stone. If you weren’t already crying when Ash’s Pikachu had refused to fight the clone Pikachu, then you should be bawling when Ash was turned to stone and all of the Pokemon, cloned and original, started crying while Ash’s Pikachu tried to shock him back to life. I know I was already choked up, and then I let the tears fall hard when that happened. tumblr_md1a3aOPBb1rgxorxo1_500

30 Day Anime Challenge Season 1 Episode 7: My Favorite Anime Couple

This didn’t take me very long, either. Isaac Dian and Miria Harvent from Baccano may not be the brightest bulbs in the box, but the love they share has lasted more than a lifetime. No matter what crazy situation that they are in, Miria always follows Isaac and vice versa. They would truly be lost without one another. The fact that they’ve gone as long as they had without even noticing that they haven’t aged a day proves that they love the other for who they are on the inside. It’s comically beautiful how caught up they get by merely being with each another.

30 Day Anime Challenge Episode 6: Most Annoying Anime Character

Excalibur-1920-1200-654382This took me some time… I thought of some characters that really agitated me. People like Koga, Kagome, and Jaken from Inuyasha. Su from Shugo Chara. But none of these characters compare to the tragedy that is Excalibur from Soul Eater. His rules, his obnoxiousness, his mandatory 5 hour story telling parties, his voice.  There is no challenge when it comes to the most annoying character ever.

30 Day Anime Challenge Season 1 Episode 5: An Anime Character That I Feel I am Most Like

Sophie.Hatter.600.148243This didn’t take me very long to decide at all. I feel that I’m most like Sophie Hatter from Howl’s Moving Castle.  I didn’t think very highly of myself, but I do know that I attract all kinds of special people. I’m the oldest who sacrificed much for her siblings and family, and felt that she was plain and unimportant. Then she met Howl. He changed her life for the better, and showed her that she could be so much more. I’ve also met my “Howl” (Saddly enough he acts a lot like him, tantrums and all. teehee), and he’s shown me that I am more than merely average.
