It took us 3 days to get from Michigan to Washington, but trip was well worth it. We drove, obviously, and went up through the mountains in Montana,Wyoming, and Idaho. It was all very beautiful. I took a lot of photos, but the above are just some that I particularly liked. The mountains are and were exciting, and the horseman is from the very first pony express. While it was exciting driving cross country and seeing all that our country has to offer, I’m glad to be settled down again. Being cramped in a car for 3 days with two screaming cats was maddening.

What Happened? What’s going on?

Well, as it would seem I kind of disappeared off the face of the planet for a while. This would be partly due to the fact that I somehow got more busy this summer rather than the opposite. With 2 jobs and an internship, I had no time to ponder about all the nonsense that I wanted.

But today will be my last day at my internship. I’m very sadden by this fact, and in less than a month I’ll be finished with both of my jobs. I’m tying up all the threads that I have here in Michigan, but, while I’m excited to be starting a new chapter in my life with my husband, I’m sad to see it all go. All of my friends, family, all the familiar places that I’ve grown to love. All of it thousands of miles away. When we’re all moved, though, I’ll have plenty of time to actually write, ponder, and rant. So at least there’s that.

I think that I’m going to have to make my last “hoorah” an entire photo shoot of all the things that I love about Michigan and the people in my life. This will have to be edited and put together a while after I leave, because my laptop had decided to die (several cords that lead to the monitor had burned out). With this in mind I’ll be planning on some beautiful photography… Eventually.

Sweet, Sweet Relief

I will now be able to post again! Sweet relief from exams and school for the next…. wait for it. 2 years. Yep, I will putting school on hold for a little while to spend some time with my husband. During this time, I will be doing a lot of ‘finding myself’ while being the best Army Wife I can be.

But before and while he comes home, I plan on posting more nonsense and reviews and my insanity. I’ll be back to my regular posting habits next week!

It’s Facebook Official~

I know that I haven’t been posting as regularly as I wish that I could be, but now you don’t have to wait! Bobo-A-Gogo has finally made it to Facebook! For those of you who follow my blog and wish to keep up with my blog and other nonsensical things on Facebook without having to search and what nots there’s a link below as well as on my blog page. With the new Facebook page it’ll be easier for me to keep in touch with my followers and hear what you have to say about the topics that I post about. I’m really looking forward to how this new addition will change how we interact and what kinds of things that I’ll be posting from now on.

Feeling Trekkie

Well, I actually kind of feel bad for not posting yesterday. I bet everyone missed that. To make up for it though, I’ll share with you the fruits of my labor (And the reason why I wasn’t able to get on yesterday).

I had to create a font poster, and the poster had to use one type family for the entire thing. I choose Calcite Pro. After choosing my font, I had to design a poster that best represented or showcased the font. I did this by making silhouettes of text and color made out of quotes from each of the characters chosen. I decided to go old school; and picked Captain Kirk, Mr. Spock, and Lt. Uhura. Each had their difficulties. Kirk was the first I had done, so figuring out how I wanted to lay out the text was a challenge. The image I had chosen to make the silhouette of Mr. Spock was rather wide, and I had a hard time filling all the space. Uhura was hard because I just couldn’t find a lot of meaningful quotes to use.

Despite these challenges, I finished them. I am very proud, and made them into  wallpapers. . .  sort of. I say sort of because I didn’t originally size it to be a wallpaper, so if you use it as such it might stretch a little. Please enjoy.

I’m back!!

ImageWell, midterms are over (sort of), and it’s spring break, baby!! With that, I am back to my regular posting habits. I’m not really sure of what I had missed in the last week. Exams and projects had made me a recluse to say the least.

Something that I did miss posting here was the beauty of my birthday fun. That’s right, I had turned 22 on Friday, and spent the weekend ‘partying’ it up. I had gotten lots of anime goodies and love. It was wonderful!!

Oh! I’d also like to announce the winner of the caption contest!! Well, there was no winner. No one even attempted it. So either all my followers have no imagination or my picture just wasn’t inspiring enough. Whatever it was, I am still disappointed.

Small Hiatus; Caption Contest

Next week is the week before Spring Break, and that means midterms for all of us college fairing people. That means that I’m going to be outrageously busy studying and working on projects, and will not be able to keep up my typical daily posts. I’ll also be putting my anime challenge on hold, but I think that that is more for me than it is for anyone else.

I’m sorry if this upset you (Not really, but it’s always nice to make you feel important, right?), and, to appease the whole 12 people that care enough to follow my blog, I’ll leave you with another funny cat picture and a caption contest! In the comments below, feel free to post possible funny captions to describe the picture below. I’ll be looking forward to the beauty that will be in a week. I’ll see ya’lls again in March~

(P.S. I made some minor changes to my pages [if you hadn’t already noticed]. Now it’s a bit more civil and condensed, because I know people don’t like reading a whole lot.)

Holy Snow Day in Michigan

We had our first big snow storm of the season here in Mid Michigan last night, and it gave me several opportunities. First was to sleep in, and I loved that. Second was the chance to have a dinner date with my best friend. Third was the chance to finish up homework that was supposed to be due today, and finally the last was to do some photography. I only wish that I had a chance to get some shots of the snow falling down, but it would have been too dark. This is what I had gotten in my back yard. Enjoy.

Two days in a Row?

I feel kind of bad about this, and, trust me, I really didn’t want it to be like this. Posting two nonsensical things two days in a row just isn’t what I would want to do. But it’s happening. Due to uncontrollable forces, things like school, work, lack of sleep, my littlest cat going into heat, I just didn’t have the time to create a well thought out blog to share with you. Trust me, I have ideas. Lots of ideas ready in the works. Just not written/typed up yet….. So I leave you with a funny picture of my cat. Please don’t be angry with me, followers.
